Summary
Korea's most famous summer festival at Daecheon Beach — mud pools, mud slides, body painting and beach parties. It's one of the most foreigner-friendly festivals in Korea (bilingual signage, big international crowd). 2026 runs July 24 – August 9.
How to use
Buy tickets on the official festival site (mudfestival.or.kr) or at the gate. The Regular Zone is for ages 19–64; a Family Zone is for guardians with children. Bring beachwear and a change of clothes. From Seoul, take a train/bus to Daecheon (Boryeong).
